We buy houses in the Quiet Corner, exactly as they are

Local buyers, our own money, and a straight answer — including when the straight answer is that you should list it instead.

We are actually from here

Almost every company advertising to buy houses in these towns is somewhere else. South Windsor. Naugatuck. Ridgefield. Warwick. Some of them are not buyers at all — they are lead services that sell your phone number to a list of investors.

We buy houses in seven towns in northeastern Connecticut, renovate them, and sell them. Every purchase we make is recorded in the town land records under our own name. You can walk into the town clerk's office and look us up, and we would rather you did.

What we are

We buy with our own funds and take title. We are not a wholesaler, we do not put your house under contract and shop it to somebody else, and we are not a lead service that sells your phone number to a list of investors.

Since July 2026 Connecticut requires anyone who does that to register with the Department of Consumer Protection and hand you a state disclosure form before you sign anything. If someone is knocking on your door, it is worth asking which one they are.

What we buy

  • Houses that need more work than the owner wants to take on — roofs, septic, wiring, heat, foundations, all of it
  • Inherited and estate property, including houses still full of a lifetime of belongings
  • Houses with tenants in them, whether or not the rent is current
  • Property owned from out of state that has stopped being worth the phone calls
  • Houses behind on taxes or in foreclosure, where there is usually more room than people think
  • Small multifamily, mill houses, farmhouses, and the odd ones the open market struggles to price

What we do not do: rentals, and we very rarely buy bare land.

How it works

01
You get in touch

Call, text, or send the form. Tell us the address and roughly what is going on. It takes five minutes and commits you to nothing.

02
We walk the property

Usually within a couple of days. You do not clean, fix, or move anything first. We are looking at the house, not at your housekeeping.

03
You get a number

Normally within a day of the walkthrough, in writing, with how we got there. No inspection contingency, so the number does not change later.

04
You decide, on your schedule

Take it, leave it, or think about it for six months. If you sign, our contract gives you three days to cancel for any reason — nobody requires that of us, and we do it anyway.

The part most buyers leave out

We will not be the highest number you can get for your house. A house in good condition, listed on the open market with time to wait, will beat us. That is simply true and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

What we offer instead is certainty and no work: no repairs, no cleanout, no showings, no commission, no financing that can fall through. If we think listing it would net you more, we will tell you that — and then you should go do that.

Questions we get

Is this a real offer or are you going to change the number later?

It is real. We do not use an inspection contingency, which is the mechanism most buyers use to renegotiate after you have committed. The number we give you is the number we close at.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. No commission, no fees, no closing costs on your side beyond what your attorney charges. We are the buyer, not an agent.

How do I know you're real?

Look us up in the town land records where the property is — every purchase we have made is recorded under our own name. Ask us for the addresses and go check them.

Do you buy anywhere outside these seven towns?

Occasionally, and we will tell you honestly if it is not a fit rather than wasting your time.

Tell us about the house

No obligation, and no pressure afterward. If we are not the right answer for you, we will say so.

Six questions, about two minutes, and you do not need any paperwork in front of you — the address is enough to start. We answer personally, usually the same day. We do not sell or share your information with anyone.
